Description
Made in Japan – Two hand-glazed vessels, each formed in quiet contrast — one in ocean teal, the other in soft forest green. Together they reflect the rhythm of nature: tide and earth, movement and stillness, light and shadow.
Each piece is individually crafted from natural clay and finished with layered glazes that reveal subtle variations in tone and texture. Hand-poured with natural soy wax, the candles release gentle, grounded fragrances inspired by the elements.
The Day and Tide Duo invites mindful living — a small ritual to mark the passing of time and the calm between
Salted Hinoki
Ryukyu Elements Collection
Crafted to complement the quiet presence of hand-glazed ceramics, Salted Hinoki is a restrained fragrance inspired by the materials and atmosphere of the Ryukyu islands.
Dry hinoki wood forms the foundation of the scent — smooth, pale, and architectural. A trace of mineral salt softens the wood, suggesting timber weathered by sea air and time. The result is calm and balanced, neither coastal nor woody, but a subtle meeting of wood, clay, and salt.
Poured into a Japanese ceramic vessel and finished with natural soy wax, the candle burns with a gentle, steady flame that enhances the glaze’s surface and quiet tonal shifts.
Salted Hinoki is designed to sit close to the vessel rather than fill the room, creating a soft atmosphere that supports the object rather than competing with it.
When the candle has finished burning, the ceramic cup can continue its life as a small bowl for tea, incense, or everyday use.
Aged Hinoki Driftwood
Ryukyu Elements Collection
Aged Hinoki Driftwood is a quiet interpretation of wood shaped by time and sea air. The scent begins with dry hinoki — pale, smooth, and architectural — softened by the weathered character of driftwood and a subtle mineral edge.
Rather than a strong wood fragrance, the blend is calm and grounded, suggesting timber that has rested for years along the shoreline, sun-bleached and gently worn. The atmosphere is warm but restrained, sitting close to the vessel rather than filling the room.
Hand-poured into a Japanese ceramic vessel using natural soy wax, the candle burns with a steady, even flame that highlights the texture and tonal depth of the glaze.
Designed as an object first and a candle second, the vessel continues its life long after the wax is gone — suitable for tea, incense, or everyday use.
