Description
Inspired by the lattice patterns of Kyoto’s townhouses and shoji screens, the Kyoto Grid Pendant is crafted from handwoven kasuri fabric, where each cross mark is created through a traditional resist-dye process.
The cylindrical shade (20 cm Ø × 34 cm H) reveals a refined grid of soft black threads on a pale stone background, creating a sense of calm rhythm and shadow play when unlit — and a warm, gentle diffusion when illuminated.
Each pendant is hand-wrapped around linen-toned rings with no plastic lining, allowing the natural weave to breathe and display its imperfect beauty.
