Pale Clay Basin

Description

This large pottery basin is formed with a broad, low profile and a subtly irregular edge that gives the piece quiet movement without visual weight. The pale glaze settles evenly across the surface, revealing fine speckling and tonal depth while allowing the clay body to remain present.

Lighter in tone than the Ground basin, this piece emphasises openness and restraint. Its generous surface and softened form make it suitable as a serving piece, centre object, or standalone form within calm, material-led interiors.

Each basin carries slight variation in edge, tone, and surface texture, reflecting the natural character of the clay and firing process.
