Description
Tsukikage Vessel — Fired Paper
Kyoto Collection | Hand-Poured in Japan-Inspired Vessel
Product Story
Named Tsukikage — meaning moon shadow — this vessel is defined by quiet contrast and subtle surface detail. Soft layers of smoky grey and ash-white glaze settle gently across the form, allowing light to shift without reflection or emphasis.
The candle is paired with a restrained, material-led scent. Fired paper and pale ash create a dry, neutral atmosphere that sits close to the vessel. There is no sweetness, smoke, or perfume character — only the impression of paper after heat, and still air held within a quiet interior.
Each candle is hand-poured in Australia using 100% natural soy wax and a single cotton wick. The wax is poured slightly below the rim to respect the handmade nature of the pottery. Once finished, the vessel may be reused as a tea cup, small planter, or keepsake object.
Designed as an object first, and a candle second.
